Letters From A Better Me author Rachael Wolff has written a new blog post on how grateful she is for the power of intention and how living with intention has changed her life, take a look.
I’m grateful for the power of intention. Over the last 91 days I’ve been amazed on how aligning with my intentions daily have worked out. Some days I’m covered in goosebumps just thinking about all the amazing things that have happened, and yes that is while we are going through some very turbulent times. Most hours of the day, my energy is aligned with the changes I want to see. Some days, it’s more of a challenge, but I still put my intentions out there. It seems like the days I’m in my darkest spots, I get the best lessons from the intentions I put out.
Before the I started this series, I found myself consumed with all the chaos going on around me. I was giving my energy to the very things I didn’t want to see more of in the world—on a regular basis! I had more fear, lack, and separation in me than I knew what to do with! I’ve studied the science on how powerful energy is. I’ve studied religion and spiritual practices to know how powerful energy is. When I don’t consciously align my energy, I sink into the abyss of fear, lack, and separation. That is where hate and rage fester.
The daily practice of aligning my energy with focused intentions (the daily commitments) has been so powerful. I’ve come across some of the most inspiring stories that feed my energy of love, abundance, and peace in the most amazing ways. Each daily commitment is setting an intention and a prayer for that day. We are so much more powerful than most of us know. Where we put our energy is crucial if we want to live a better life.
Today, I commit to setting CLEAR intentions. Now, in this series, I set pretty general intentions. These are my global prayers for a better life for all of us. Today, I’m going to take out my journal and write down some clear personal intentions that take me even deeper into the energy of love, abundance, and peace. It’s so important to be clear on what we want for our own lives. Here’s the thing, we set intentions daily whether we are aware of it or not. Pay attention to the messages playing in your head. You may be setting intentions in the way you talk to yourself or the stories you tell yourself about others. Be watchful! We can’t fake our energy. That is why if we set intentions and our energy we are putting out with them doesn’t align, they won’t come into fruition because the energy isn’t aligned to go in the direction you are wanting. Your direction is determined by the energy you are projecting out.
Our self-talk is a great indicator of the energy we are projecting out. If you struggle with self-talk and your relationship with yourself, that is where you need to begin setting intentions to be and do better. Commit to your relationship with yourself first and you will be amazed at how that projects out to the world.
With Love, Abundance, and Peace,

How Becoming an Empowered Woman Transforms the World
THE EMPOWERED WOMAN follows the belief system that is best explained in a quote by Byron Katie: “The most attractive thing about the Buddha was that he saved one person: himself. That’s all he needed to save; when he saved himself, he saved the whole world.”
The letters work in different ways depending on the chapter and part of the book.
