Daily Aligning with Love, Abundance, and Peace #95

I’m grateful for the lightworkers in the world. Not only am I grateful for the lightworkers, I feel so blessed to hear the calling to be a lightworker. Now, some people put lightworkers into a small category of people, and some will think of themselves as being special for being a lightworker, but if someone is doing that, they are being limited by ego. Being a lightworker is a calling to spread compassion, love, joy, and empathy (LIGHT) to the world, not just to a particular group of people but to all of humanity. Lightworkers can be people on a spiritual path, but they can also be in any field that serves humanity and/or the betterment of our world.

Lightworkers aren’t perfect, and they will let their personal battles get in the way at times, I KNOW! Many lightworkers have experienced some type of severe trauma that has led them to healing and wanting to help others, but we are still healing ourselves while also doing our best to shine light on the world. There are doctors, nurses, authors, bloggers, meditation/ mindfulness coaches, journalists, entertainers, politicians, life coaches, mental health professionals, cashiers, customer service representatives, veterinarians, environmentalists, scientists, police officers, fire fighters, EMTs, social workers, and so many more who have answered an inner calling to help others. Some people do this actively through their work, and others focus on the energy they are consciously projecting. The energies each project creates more positive change in the world. This doesn’t mean that all people who do these things are lightworkers. Some are darkworkers. The only thing that separates the two is the energy a person is feeding to do what they do, are they feeding love, abundance, and peace or fear, lack, and separation? Both take work and effort to stay in the energy that they are feeding.

Lightworkers answer the call of love, abundance, and peace over fear, lack, and separation. When we are focused on our fears, we are in the darkness, not in the light. Becoming a lightworker takes inner awareness. We have to be willing to look at what we are projecting out, because light can only come from inside of us. If we are embracing our own darkness/blindness, we can’t help create positive change around us because our energy isn’t aligned with the change we want to see. I’ve also seen those who claim to be lightworkers be darkworkers. They sometimes really do believe they are lightworkers, but the dark energy within them has a lot more control than they are willing to look at.

I’m so incredibly grateful to all of those individuals who are committing to help keep us in the light. We help the energy of our entire planet by being able to do this. This is the power of prayer and intention gathering collectively for the good of the planet. I’m grateful to anyone who wants to help raise the vibration of our planet, plus it feels better inside too. It’s a win-win. Today, we need as much light as we can muster, so if you have it inside you, I ask you to please shine it.

Today, I commit to being a lightworker. In the USA, today is election day. I’ve been asked, “How are you planning to stay in the energy of love, abundance, and peace?” I’m not going to lie, I will be working extra to stay in the energy I want to create more of. This election isn’t just about the USA, it’s about the Global energy of lightworkers. For me, this isn’t about politics, it’s about the energy each individual is contributing to the energy force of our planet. I’m about the energy of love, abundance, and peace rising up as a collective. If I start feeding my fear, lack, and separation, I contribute to more of that energy. That is NOT what I want to do today. My focus will be on on the light in the world and connecting with others who are shining their lights. The beauty of this is a person can be anywhere in the world, and if our energies are alike, we will connect in the energy force.

On a smaller scale, you might have felt this connection with loved ones who are far away. You may have felt it when the world is experiencing collective compassion over a natural disaster, terrorist attack, or school shooting. We are all made up of energy. Living in fear, feeds fear. Living in love, feeds love. The BUT people give is an excuse. It’s an excuse not to do the work that will get them out of the energy they are currently in. I’ve used the BUT, and it gets me nowhere. When I take responsibility and accountability for the energy I put out, I live empowered. I commit to doing the work to keep me in that energy. It’s not about what anyone else is doing, it’s about what we as individuals decide to contribute to. If you want to make an excuse to stay in fear, that’s your choice. Here’s my plan for staying in the light today:

  1. I will meditate. I made a playlist of Heart-Centered Meditations on Spotify. I also checked out quite a few available on YouTube. I will be doing them throughout the day if I find myself slipping into fear-based thinking. Thankfully, I also have friends committing to do meditations on the top of every hour, so I can join in with them too. The more energies connect, the stronger they are (for better or for worse).
  2. I scheduled multiple calls with people who are also lightworkers. We will help each other to stay in the light and allow our energies to be stronger together.
  3. I will pray for the people who are lost in their own darkness. I will send as much loving energy as I can to the people who need it. I will pray for anyone who is lost in the energy of fear, lack, and separation. I will also thank GOD for all those embracing the energy of love.
  4. I will write in my gratitude journal (which I do daily anyway).
  5. I will limit my social media exposure to pages and people who are contributing to the light in the world.

At this point, I feel most of us know the story of the two wolves. If you don’t, look it up. We are made of different things within us that we choose to feed. These become our stories, which in turn becomes our reality. We can feed the fear, lack, separation, rage, and hate or we can feed the love, abundance, peace, joy, and compassion. We feed our own stories by where we focus our energy. We feed our collective stories, by how we connect our energy with others. It is our job to make sure we are aligning with people who are aligning with the stories that contribute to the energy we want to see more of.

If you read today’s post and think it’s a little woo-woo. You can actually look deeper into the science of energy. It truly is fascinating. You can also look into the science of the brain and you will be blown away. I’ve spent over 30 years now digging deeper. In the last ten years, I’ve seen more and more scientific evidence that support what I’ve learned. We can only ever go as deep as we are willing to on this journey. How much light you want to spread is entirely up to you. It takes a lot of unlearning and re-learning. The process can be hard and even heart-wrenching at times, but when you tap into the authentic light within you, and watch how that light spreads…it makes it all worth it!

With Love, Abundance, and Peace,

How Becoming an Empowered Woman Transforms the World

THE EMPOWERED WOMAN follows the belief system that is best explained in a quote by Byron Katie: “The most attractive thing about the Buddha was that he saved one person: himself. That’s all he needed to save; when he saved himself, he saved the whole world.”

The letters work in different ways depending on the chapter and part of the book.
