Daily Aligning with Love, Abundance, and Peace

Letters From A Better Me author Rachael Wolff has written a new blog post on how grateful she is for doctors, nurses, and EMT’s, especially in this trying time.

Daily Aligning with Love, Abundance, and Peace #116

I’m grateful for doctors, nurses, and EMTs. As I watch COVID numbers climb, I think more and more of the people who are there fighting for the lives of those infected. I’m overwhelmed with gratitude for all these people who are putting their own lives at risk day after day to help others get home to the people they love and who love them. I’m not going to even pretend to imagine what it’s like working long hours fighting for patients lives then going home to think about how to keep their own families safe. I can’t even begin to wonder about all the myriad of choices and decisions they have to make daily.

Over the years, I’ve had friends in all these roles, and I have so much respect for them. They see many people at their absolute worst, and their care can end up having a lifelong impact on patients and families lives. Most of them are a true gifts to humanity. Just like in any field, there are going to be some bad apples, but that’s a part of life. Today, I want to focus on the AMAZING helpers we have in doctors, nurses, and EMTs. Your service is SO appreciated. THANK YOU!!

Today, I commit to showing my appreciation to doctors, nurses, and EMTs. To all the doctors, nurses, and EMTs around the world, THANK YOU! I know you deserve so much more than just words of gratitude. I wish the energy of all the people who appreciate you could lift you to a place where you could TRULY FEEL it. I commit to doing my best to think about you and your sacrifices when I’m living my life. I promise to be safe and do my part to reduce the COVID spread, because I know that it’s not just about saving the lives of the people who contract it, it’s about helping to support you and all you do.

I commit to not just thinking about myself and my immediate circle. I will think about all the people who are filling the hospital beds, their families, and all of you. I continue to pray for all of you.

With Love, Abundance, and Peace,

Letters From a better me

How Becoming an Empowered Woman Transforms the World

THE EMPOWERED WOMAN follows the belief system that is best explained in a quote by Byron Katie: “The most attractive thing about the Buddha was that he saved one person: himself. That’s all he needed to save; when he saved himself, he saved the whole world.”

The letters work in different ways depending on the chapter and part of the book.
