Daily Aligning with Love, abundance, and Peace

Rachael Wolff, author of Letters From A Better Me, has written a new blog post on how important it is to work on yourself.

Daily Aligning with Love, abundance, and Peace #62

I’m SO grateful for people who work on themselves. When I interact with people who work on themselves, I leave the conversation feeling inspired, even if our perspectives are different. The beautiful thing about people who work on themselves is they have already began the process of seeing that we can believe perspectives that don’t serve us. When we are open enough to see that, we listen and learn from each other in the most beautiful way. I love those conversations that go, “I used to believe…, but I realized…” or “I used contribute my energy to…, but now I realize how unhealthy it is for me to think that way.” I love being in conferences where the messages resonate through everyone watching and you can see the heads nodding together. The energy is palpable. When someone is working on aligning with the energy of love, abundance, and peace, I can feel it through their words, actions, and responses. It truly is a beautiful thing, and I love the energy it puts off. To me, there is nothing more special than someone sharing their self-work, because I can feel that person’s light shining. It’s part of the reason I like working with people on this journey. Just feeling their light helps mine shine brighter. This is how we light up the world.

Just like the energy of love, abundance, and peace is contagious, so is the energy of fear, lack, and separation. Unhealthy people set unhealthy traps to bring people into their energy. If a person isn’t working on themselves, it can happen unconsciously. That’s what happened to me when I was in a relationship with a narcissist. I had no idea the slippery slope of attaching to the energy of fear, lack, and separation would take me down. I couldn’t see facts because my lens could only see in the direction of fear, lack, and separation. I didn’t realize how sick I got the longer I stayed in that energy. When I was in that energy, I was weak and easy to manipulate. I learned through years of research how important it is to align my energy love, abundance, and peace. The blessings are we can see other people who are aligned, who aren’t, and/or who are working on it. Nobody is perfect. When we can admit that we are learning and growing, it opens us up in the most beautiful ways.

Today, I commit to focus on how I can contribute to the good in the world. We cannot contribute to the authentic good in the world if our energy is trapped in the prison of fear, lack, and separation. Our path becomes jaded. We can’t see clearly because we are blinded by our own dark thinking. We can take a good and beautiful cause and bring toxic energy to it, which then contributes to the chaos. Part III of Letters from a Better Me is all about how to represent what we STAND for, instead of what we are against. That against energy can be powerful and unconsciously take us deep into the energy of fear, lack, and separation. When we don’t take the path inward to focus on where we are contributing our energy, we sabotage the good by bringing in the darkness.

Today, all my energy is going towards how I can create more good in the world. This is one of the reasons I’ve felt called to do these daily aligning posts. It’s also why I wrote, Letters from a Better Me. I know that when my energy is in the best place possible, I have a better chance of creating lasting change in the world. It is essential that I keep my energy aligned with this mission, because with so much fear, separation, and lack happening around the world, I want to contribute as much light as I possibly can.

Yesterday, I had to work extra towards aligning my energy after seeing too much fear, lack, and separation. My body makes it very clear when I need to do the extra work. We definitely need to listen to ourselves and tune in! When we don’t, it’s easy to go down the rabbit hole. The quickest way out is to do something right now towards shifting our energy and creating more good, even if that good is within ourselves. If we sit and do nothing, the inner darkness will get the opportunity to take over.

With Love, Abundance, and Peace,

How Becoming an Empowered Woman Transforms the World

THE EMPOWERED WOMAN follows the belief system that is best explained in a quote by Byron Katie: “The most attractive thing about the Buddha was that he saved one person: himself. That’s all he needed to save; when he saved himself, he saved the whole world.”

The letters work in different ways depending on the chapter and part of the book.
