Letters From A Better Me author Rachael Wolff has written a new blog post on being grateful for your senses and how they let you experience the world.

Daily Aligning with Love, Abundance, and Peace #63
I’m grateful for my sense of smell. Anytime I need to feel more grounded, I can use this sense to help me find space to breathe. I can find smells to enjoy anywhere I go. I’m so grateful for this amazing sense. The simple acts of washing my hands, preparing food, doing laundry, going outside, taking a shower, and smelling a flower can bring me to a place of peace in an instant. I just have to be willing to be present enough to appreciate it.

Today, I commit to appreciating my sense of smell. When I think about what I’ve done so far today, I can tell you if I was in autopilot or present by the smells. I can tell if I’m moving too fast, because I don’t focus on each thing I’m doing. If my head is somewhere else, I won’t remember what I smelled. Being present is where love, abundance, and peace live. The more ways we have to tap into the present moment, the better chance we have at truly aligning our energy. Today, my focus is on being present through my sense of smell. Who’s with me? Let’s commit to enjoying this great feature we were born with. We were given this sense for a reason, let’s enjoy it!

With Love, Abundance, and Peace,

How Becoming an Empowered Woman Transforms the World
THE EMPOWERED WOMAN follows the belief system that is best explained in a quote by Byron Katie: “The most attractive thing about the Buddha was that he saved one person: himself. That’s all he needed to save; when he saved himself, he saved the whole world.”
The letters work in different ways depending on the chapter and part of the book.
