Draw Prosperity Toward You With a DIY Wand

A wand is used for directing energy. It is best to make your own wand from found wood and instill it with your personal energy. You can go out into a nearby park or  the woods, a suitable branch that has fallen. Never cut a wand from a tree as that energy will be retained by the wand. Allow Mother Nature to find choose on for you; she is always rights.   You might find the perfect weathered wand on a beach as driftwood. Each tree has it distinctive properties:

·        Ash, Fraxinus excelsior. Ash grows fast and its seedlings root everywhere, so it’s t persistent. Use ash for prosperity, transformation and self-improvement.

·        Birch, Betula Pendula, has feminine energy and healing power. Boiled soft birch wood was used to soothe bruises and calm cuts. Use a birch wand for healing spells, for calming situations, and for requesting a diplomatic solution.

·        Crab Apple, Malus Sylvestris, will provide bent and twisted, gnarled wands. Apple, as we know, is the tree of knowledge and wisdom. Apples, the fruit and the wood, are extremely useful to witchcraft. Use an apple wand whenever you need guidance, want to know the truth, or as an everyday wand.

·        Rowan or Mountain Ash, Sorbus aucuparia, is native to the British Isles. There is a closely related American species, Sorbus Americana. It’s also a ‘portal tree’, therefore when you want to undertake a journey or a guided visualization, keep your Mountain Ash wand close by.

·        Oak, Quercus robur, has a strong, masculine energy and is also good for healing and protection. It makes a good, long-lasting wand for intensely focused work. If you choose to use only one wand, make it oak.

Money Flow: Feng Shui Fountain

Water fountains are good feng shui and can enhance your prosperity quotient. Gather together:

A large green bowl or tall vase

Enough water to fill the container

Wooden wand

Small river  rocks, at least 8

For those of us who can’t pull off a fountain in our home or garden, this works just as well to get the money flowing. Stand in the front door area of your home and identify which is the far left corner. This is the prosperity area and, therefore, the perfect place for this ritual.  Place the smooth river rocks in the bottom of the container and carefully pour the water in so you avoid spilling any. Take up your want and speak aloud:

In the name of goddess, I dedicate this space.

Peace and prosperity flows throughout this place.

Everyone here will enjoy abundance and grace.

With harm to none. So mote it be.

Take your wand and gently stir the surface of the water so it swirls and circles.

Repeat the spell, then bow and say thank you to abundance energies.

Take the vessel of water and pour it into the roots of the nearest tree, ideally right outside your home or one of your larger potted plants. This will keep the flow of abundance in your personal space.

Quick Tip:  Boost Your Blessings

If your wand can fit well on your altar, I suggest keeping it there and you can also use the crystal at the end to boost the power of any ritual work you are working on your altar, For example, whatever ritual elements symbolize money, health or love, point the wand at those for an extra charge.

Astrological Almanac – Green Witchery Wisdom

Plants carry potent energy you can use to amplify your magical workings. Use the signs of the sun, moon and stars to your advantage and, over time, you will come to know which ones are most effective for you. Make sure to use your own astrological chart in working with these herbs. Here is a guide to the astrological associations of plants you may grow in your kitchen garden or keep dried in your pantry:

Power of Sun and Moon Potion

Here is a powerful herbal healing essence you can make in one week’s time. For an immune system boost, crush a mixture of equal parts rosemary, sandalwood and the petals of a red carnation. Place the crushed herbs in a colored class jar filled with virgin olive oil. After seven days’ storage on a windowsill so as to be exposed to both Sun and Moon, strain and place the infused oil back into the jar. You now have a hearty supply of homemade healing oil to use in the bath, or to rub on your pulse points: temple, wrists, backs of knees, and behind the ears. As soon as you feel rundown, one application should make a difference.

Money Magic: Thinking Your Way to Prosperity

I learned the art of intention-setting some years ago and quickly incorporated it into my morning rituals. Upon waking, sometimes, even before I open my eyes, I set my intention for the day. It can be about work, financial challenges a problem I am dealing with, relationships, health, hopes and dreams and anything, as long as it is also for the good of all. It has become a morning prayer for me, quick and quiet. I simply state my intention such as “I Intend my presentation today at work  will go really well and I will feel joy as it is happening and set the stage for success for this product launch, for the good of all.  I am grateful for this wonderful day. And so it is.”  During the peak of my money woes,  I would get very specific and set intentions for the exact amount of money I needed to make the mortgage payment, credit card bill, etc. Granular detail is good when manifesting so it is fine to say how much you  want when intending with money. . Avoid using words with any negative charge to them such as “can’t, but, won’t” and amplify your intention with a statement of gratitude immediately after. Always state your intention as if it is happening now and not in the future. Be specific and intend without limit; it does now always have to personal to you and intending for the greater good of all contributes to a positive global shift. By setting intentions every day, you will soon become a master manifestor. I intend that for you!
