Insult to Injury: Stories About Wounds

September 9 @ 8:00 pm

Kate Farrell (author of Story Power) is said to join the Better Said Than Done show for a night of storytelling.

Event Details:

On September 9, 2021, join emcee Jessica Robinson and storytellers Tim Ereneta, Kate Farrell, Erin Johnston, Vicki Juditz, Jude Treder-Wolff, and Nancy Wang for “Insult to Injury: Stories About Wounds.”

Live streaming online starting at 8:00pm EDT on September 9th. Or watch the recording after. PLEASE NOTE: THIS SHOW STARTS AT 8:00PM EDT / 5:00PM PDT

Suggested contribution $15 per attendee.

Minimum $5. Proceeds will be divided among the storytellers. Tickets on sale at: https://www.bettersaidthandone.com/…/16/insult-to-injury/

Storytellers will perform from the comfort and safety of their own homes, so no storyteller will be harmed in the production of this show. We can’t promise that no storyteller will be insulted though!

Kate Farrell is excited to be part of this storytelling show with such amazingly talented tellers. She is eager to share a personal story of an injury to her right wrist that left her handless. Kate will then weave her experience with elements from the magical German fairy tale, “The Handless Maid.” She finds it remarkable that her contemporary story has so many connections to the traditional one. See if you agree!

This show will be recorded. All ticket holders receive a zoom link to watch live and then a Youtube link the next day to watch the recording for up to one month. Because all ticket holders get a link to the recorded show and can watch after, TICKET SALES END ON SEPTEMBER 13th.

The live event is still on September 9th, however, so join us live or watch the recording after. Either way, enjoy the show!

You should receive the Zoom login information immediately after registering. Check the email you use on Paypal and check your junk folder if you do NOT see it. Try to login a few minutes before show time to make sure you can gain entry.

Contact us: stories (at) bettersaidthandone (dot) com if you still do not see the email.
PLEASE NOTE: We cannot respond to emails during the show.
PLEASE double check you have the login prior to 8pm EDT on September 9th!
