Karen Casey began her recovery journey in 1974 in Al-Anon and then got sober in AA in 1976. She has been writing books and doing workshops for people in recovery and on a spiritual path since publishing her first book: Each Day A New Beginning in 1982. To date she has written 29 books and number 30 is underway. Her most recent book is, “20 Things I Know for Sure: Principles for Cultivating a Peaceful Life.”Charlene Costanzo is the author of “The Twelve Gifts” (award-winning) collection of books, each with the essential message that everyone has gifts and talents to live well and make a difference, She’s also a mother of adult two daughters, grandmother of twins, wife of 50 years to the same man, lover of philosophy, psychology, nature, travel, dancing, reading and writing who has lived for some time in all of the lower 48 states.
