When I was first learning to bake I longed for a resource that would break everything down from the very beginning for me. Everything from how ingredients functioned, to definitions of baking terminology, and detailed technique breakdowns. I couldn’t find one source for this at the time, so I pieced everything together. I read lots of different books and watched so many video tutorials. But it wasn’t until culinary school that all of the dots really started to be connected.
Because of my journey in learning all of this, I had an idea for a way I could make the resource I wished I had when I was first learning. One that connected all the dots and really showed how baking works in an easily digestible way. And for the last year, I have been creating it.
