“Thriving in the Eye of the Hurricane,” is also the title of my new book that will be out in October.
The reason I’m doing this is that I am inspired as I listen to people from around the world. People who have come to a realization of how the Principles are not only transforming themselves but transforming their communities and the systems and organizations that they belong to as well.
I want to help people to get a feel for what this book is about, not just a didactic monologue from me about what the Principles are about.
These are stories of real people who are in challenging circumstances who find themselves in the hurricane of their lives– the pandemic; climate change; racial tension and in- justices.
This podcast series and indeed my book is not about something you have to learn to do. It’s not about something that you have to superimpose over your already busy lives. What I’m pointing to through story and education is to wake up something that’s already complete and whole within you. It’s not something you have to learn. It’s something that you have to remember to bring back to conscious awareness that is already there.
Understanding the Three Principles points people back to their Original Mind.

It’s not a set of things to do. It’s not a program that you have to complete. It’s an education of how the system works to create all of our personal realities. They are the powers behind the scenes that have always been at work to create our unique experience of life.
This podcast series and my book will illuminate what those Principles are. That will impact some people the first time they hear this. Sometimes gradually, like me who was on the “dimmer switch”. It took me a while to realize the power of how my experience is created. But if you’re open and willing and want your own mental well-being, your resilience, by your listening deeply, you will begin to reawaken your own innate health and resilience.
My hope and purpose for doing this podcast series and for writing this book is that you will find a constant that will keep you grounded in your mental health; in your resilience; in your wisdom. Once we find it for ourselves, we can be change agents in our own little personal sphere of self, our families, and people we love people in our communities. As it ripples out from our change, as people gain an understanding of their own resilience and their own mental health, they feel joy. They feel gratitude and compassion for those who aren’t yet free of the suffering of their own hurricane of thoughts. This series will be a way to give people hope.

You will get a picture of what it looks like and what it feels like through the many stories that I’ll be sharing with you.
I’ll be interviewing real people so that you can experience for yourself, through this podcast, what it feels like to be operating from your Original Mind– the Mind that is already resilient, that you came into the world with. It is unbroken and complete and understanding the Principles behind resilience, we will be able to unleash that innate power that we all have to have more creative thinking. We will be more nimble and responsive to the constant change that we’re going through in the world.
I invite you to let everybody you know who might benefit from this including yourself. You can go to my website and sign up for my newsletter. If you’re interested, or you want to pass this on to others, it’s free. It’s a labor of love and a gift to the community of this planet.
We’ll be doing it on Facebook Live, Zoom, and we’ll also be recording it so if you can’t make it because you’re in a different timezone or it’s not convenient, you’ll always be able to see it later. I’d love your participation if you can be there live, so you can ask questions of the people I’m interviewing. We want to create a conversation of human beings, dealing with the challenges and the changes that we’re in, and how to better utilize our mind in a way it was designed to do it in a way that’s resilient wise, and gives everyone, hope.
Thank you.

Unlocking Resilience in Turbulent Times
What is the Transformation Principle? This principle is a realization of the fundamental way our mind works that brings about a “transformative resilience” that radically shifts the way we understand ourselves and our chaotic world. It creates an inner strength and self-confidence, enabling us to see it is our thinking that creates our experience and the quality of our lives.
Burnout prevention and resilience in a changing world. As a leader in the field of addiction therapies and strategies for overcoming fear and burnout, Joseph Bailey has piloted a number of programs on transformative resilience at the Mayo Clinic, The University of Minnesota Medical School―Center for Spirituality and Healing, addiction treatment centers, and healthcare facilities. Thousands of students, clients, and professionals have been inspired and educated by his Transformation Principle. He has provided his program of practical tips and proven methods to first responders and a variety of professions including businesses, social service agencies, hospitals, universities, and school communities.
