Can you remember the first time you looked down from a window seat on an airplane flight and the land looked like a patchwork quilt? I was thrilled to see that. There are other ways to experience higher perspective in a physical way, such as floating in a hot air balloon. These help us to see above physical crossroads.
For rising to higher perspectives when we are at crossroads in life, we need hope. To tell you the truth, I need the higher perspective of hope every day. Without it, I can’t see rightly.
One way I rise is with prayer. Another is recalling how things have worked out, even when they didn’t go as I wished. We can cultivate trust in what is unfolding, which is hope. Let’s nurture it today.
