Check out this post from Charlene Costanzo.

“When I was a boy and I would see scary things in the news, my mother would say to me, “Look for the helpers. You will always find people who are helping.” ~ Fred Rogers I’ve been looking for the helpers. It’s been uplifting and encouraging to see on the news parents and children cleaning graffiti and sweeping broken glass in Atlanta, elders and young people with them, for example. They were, they are, everywhere, people helping in different capacities. This is a very good time to notice the helpers, to realize that there are many more people who want justice for all and safety for all. This is a very good time to be helpers, to help however we can to foster harmony, respect for all, compassion, wisdom, hope, love, and peace among us. Let’s especially show to the children in our lives the goodness and beauty in humanity. With love and hope, Charlene THE FIFTH GIFT IS HOPE: Through each passage and season may you trust the goodness of life. – from The Twelve Gifts of Birth |
