Charlene Costanzo, author of The Twelve Gifts From the Garden, has a message on the importance of spreading love and joy.

“One joy scatters a hundred griefs.” ~ a Chinese Proverb
I appreciate the poetic quality of this proverb. I can’t say I fully understand or agree wholeheartedly though. I think it depends on the nature of the joy and the depth of the grief.
How about you? How does this quote affect you? Maybe you can shed light on it.
I better understand the proverb that says joy shared is doubled and sorrow shared is halved.
With or without agreement with either proverb, we know there is sorrow and grief in the world now. There is confusion and worry.
We may be feeling these things ourselves.
With compassion and wisdom, let’s do our best to repeat good news, share joys, spread love, offer smiles, act kindly, encourage hope, foster joy…do what we can.
For peace and harmony,
Charlene
